Act now: Ends Sept. 8 Artists-In-Residence Support + Bonus Ruth Asawa NY MoMA Opportunity

We are officially launching our Artists-in-Residence Annual Campaign a little early;  a once-in a lifetime offering means a once in a lifetime email. Over 70 professional artists , in all disciplines, work with our students each day, a vision of our school’s founder, Ruth Asawa.

To support the Ruth Asawa School for the Arts PTSA’s  annual campaign for the Artists-in-Residence program*, Ruth Asawa’s family and generous donors put together an amazing gift- there is ONE and only one package available:

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the life and work of our school’s founder and legendary artist Ruth Asawa at this year’s most stunning show in the United States, as Ruth Asawa: A Retrospective premieres in New York City!

  • Two (2) tickets to the opening gala of A Retrospective at the New York MoMA, on October 14th, 2025. You will attend as a guest of Henry Weverka - Ruth Asawa’s grandson and president of Ruth Asawa Lanier, Inc.

  • A private tour of the exhibit on the following day with Henry Weverka who will awe you with his knowledge and touching stories about his grandmother.

  • Two (2) nights at the hip HighLine Hotel in Chelsea (double occupancy).

  • Airfare arranged or $500 reimbursement per ticket. Optional.

  • Complimentary copy of Ruth Asawa: Retrospective catalog and a Limited edition Mi Cocina x Ruth Asawa "BMC" stamped denim apron
