RUTH ASAWA sota’s instrumental music department PRESENTS: SOUNDS OF CERULEAN

Join us for what's going to be a jazzy Instrumental Music Finale!

We’ll wrap up the year with a big band and orchestra collaboration that features jazz standards, student compositions, a world premiere piece composed for the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts orchestra, and a centennial performance of Gershwin’s famous Rhapsody in Blue.

Composer George N. Gianopoulos will be in residence with the orchestra, and Lindsay Rader joins as Rhapsody in Blue soloist. It's going to be a concert to remember...hope to see you there!

Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Conservatory Dance Department is proud to present Epiphany. This annual spring dance concert showcases all original works by students and artists in residence: Calvin L. Thomas, Jr., Norma Fong, Graciela Acedo, Amy Foley, Vincent Chavez, Guest Choreographer Tai Lum (Alumni 2021), and directed by Andrea Scheumann.


New this year- SOTA-PALOOZA: one hour before each performance, the Cowell Theater Lobby will come alive with music, art, design, and theatrics by talented Ruth Asawa SOTA students and staff. Come early and soak it all in!
